Cats have a reputation of being moody, but a cat name Kitzia goes well beyond what can be described as “moody.” The tabby is nick-named “Angry Kitzia” and basically looks like she wants to murder you.
Kitzia has what you might call “resting murder face.” The heated look is achieved by two sharp stripes on her forehead, piercing green eyes, and a triangular face.
The fact that her ears stick straight out and kind of look like horns doesn’t help her demon cat appearance. The scowling 7-year-old feline looks completely enraged at all times.
Face of the furious
Despite Kitzia’s furious face, which most would find unapproachable, her owner Viktoriia Otdielnova says she’s actually very sweet.
She does, however, have a “grumpy grandma” side to her. As Otdielnova explains it, Kitzia is “a cat with emotions.”
Kitzia lives in Orlando, Florida with her mom, who is a professional photographer originally from Ukraine, according to Bored Panda.
Otdielnova does mostly portraits and has used Kitzia as a muse. She’s taken so many pictures of Kitzia that the irate-looking kitty has her own Instagram page.
As soon as Otdielnova posted a photo of Kitzia, it immediately went viral. Now Kitzia has more than 112,000 Instagram followers.
“Good morning? No such thing,” says a photo of Kitzia hunched over and sour-faced.
That photo was liked more than 5,000 times alone. Fans just can’t get over how a cat could possibly look this angry.
“[That] Cat’s gonna end a life today,” wrote one commenter.
There is a post with Kitzia standing next to Pennywise the Dancing Clown, so that could be true. While her Instagram handle is @grumpy_kitzia, Kitzia looks far more perturbed than Grumpy Cat, whose actual name was Tardar Sauce.
Internet famous
Tardar Sauce became famous after appearing in a Reddit post in 2012. That cat went beyond being just internet famous and appeared in cat food commercials.
Tardar Sauce also appeared in her own movie called “Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever.” Many have tried to copy the cat and gain the same kind of fame, but there haven’t been any cats who have matched the real Grumpy Cat’s achievements.
Tardar Sauce, unfortunately, passed away at the age of 7 due to complications from a urinary tract infection. Kitzia hasn’t been to Hollywood yet, but her mean mug has been featured in publications like the New York Post.
She still has thousands of adoring fans who love to see her irritable antics every day. You can follow Kitzia on Instagram @grumpy_kitzia.
